Saw the continuing expansion of Re-Ropes with its purchase by Gustav Wolf. Becoming part of worldwide rope manufacture with production plants in Germany, Hungary, France, Dubai, China and India.
November 2014 saw the relocation to Re-Ropes new warehouse and office complex, giving us a great foundation to offer our clients even more products. Crane rope and travelling cables form part of our product expansion due in 2015.
Re-Ropes Ltd was established in 1986 to provide a new type of roping operation to the lift industry. The concept behind the company was to offer a full service from survey to supply and fit, enabling Re-Ropes Ltd to oversee all aspects of the roping process.
By stocking large quantities of high quality lift rope and by training operatives to specialise in all aspects of lift roping practices, Re-Ropes Ltd was able to offer a fast, efficient and cost effective roping service to lift maintenance companies.
Over the years the range of site services offered by Re-Ropes has increased significantly, but the core philosophy of survey, supply and fit still applies to all aspects of our work, from a basic ‘roping’ job through to the supply and fit of drive sheaves and pulleys and general gear work.
Re-Ropes Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.
