Suspension Belts — OEM-Compatible

Flat, chevron and PV — with the clamps to match.

For belted platforms we stock the working range: flat belts at 25 and 30 mm, chevron belts at 60 mm (AAA717-pattern lines), and Schindler PV-pattern belts including PV30 (STM-PV30-1.73S-PU-42) and PV50 — plus the monitoring clamps, shortening clamps and anchorages that make belt work possible.

Breaking forces and full mechanical properties are stated on the certificate issued with each rope — supplied against the applicable standard, never quoted generically.

Belted MRL platforms changed suspension, and the service market has caught up: compatible belts now exist for the common platforms, held here in the hundreds of metres alongside the specific hardware — anchorages, monitoring clamps, shortening clamps — that OEM belt systems require.

Re-belting follows our roping discipline: survey the belts and pulleys, supply the correct pattern, fit with platform-correct tensioning, certify and guarantee.

Why this line

  • Stocked belt lines for the platforms UK engineers actually meet
  • The clamp and anchorage hardware nobody else keeps on the shelf
  • Survey-first re-belting with platform-correct procedure

Typical applications

  • Re-belting Gen2-style flat-belt platforms
  • Schindler PV-pattern belt renewal
  • Belt monitoring and shortening works

Ordering questions

Asked at the counter.

Ask ours
Are compatible belts legitimate on OEM platforms?

Where the belt meets the platform’s specification and is installed to its procedure, yes — it is the same independence the rope market has enjoyed for decades. Genuinely locked platforms exist, and we say so plainly when we meet one.
